Self-Assessment

  1. Acknowledge your and others’ range of linguistic differences as resources, and draw on those resources to develop a rhetorical sensibility.

When doing the public service campaign with my group members, I realized all three of us have a unique way of approaching things. One of my group members had a much more worldly approach to her part of our message; she was more in tune with social media, designing, and public affairs. In my case, I am not that much in tune with social media or designing; I am much more mechanical and objective. Her differences showed in her writing, and I would like to use her approach when I do my creative writing, which I love to do.
